Club Membership

Please welcome to our fold Pete (the Pie man). As you may know or not Pete has set up his pie shop in Sanson on the corner of Dundas Rd. and Burt St. If you are looking for something a bit different in the way of a pie have a look at what he has to offer

Upcoming Events

Very shortly, 16th April, we will be having a Pea/Pie and Spud night at the club. Pete will do standard meat pie peas and spud for $4.50. We will need to have orders and money for him a couple of days beforehand. Members could leave their orders and money in an envelope perhaps if they are not staying at the club for the evening.

Also keep an eye on the club noticeboard whenever you are in as the info on there could change from one day to the next

Annual General Meeting

Believe it or not it is time to start thinking about this years AGM. All positions are up for grabs.

The tentative date put aside is the 29th May. This date could change depending on weather we can get the books back from the number crunchers in time.

Sports

The club recently received a pool challenge from the Rangitikei Club. We have accepted this challenge which will be on a home and away basis. The first round will be held on 22 May Sunday 1.pm at Rangitikei, the return game will be on June 26/6 Sunday at 1pm at Sanson Club. Pub Rules apply for these games. If you are interested in playing these games please put your name on the noticeboard.

Handle Club

Don’t forget the handle club which is drawn every Sunday night. Members need to be present at the club in order to win this. If this is not struck on the night it jackpots until it “goes off”. Just as a reminder to handle club members that the winnings from the Handle Club Draw are paid out in the form of a Bar Tab or to pay off an existing tab. The amount is not to be out in cash.. The Handle club will be slightly altered to increase by $5.00 per week, to now be $10.00 per week, and will be capped at $100.00.
