Anzac Day
Observance 2008 An
invitation is extended to citizens, returned and Service
Members of Sanson and Ohakea and District.
9-15am
Returned Service Members and other Associations are requested to assemble at
the entrance to the Sanson School, Wellington Road, Sanson, and parade to the
cenotaph with the Feilding Brass Band leading for a wreath laying ceremony,
RNZAF fly pass, and thence to the Sanson Community Hall for the Civic Service.
The
Service will be conducted by the Rev Keith Edwards, Mr Paul Edwards, former Chairman
of the Ohakea Museum will present the address.
Morning
tea will be served at the conclusion of the service and a plate would be appreciated.
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow
old. Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down
of the sun, and in the morning.
