NEIGHBOURHOOD SUPPORT
It is pleasing to see how well Neighbourhood Support works when
residents take notice of suspicious activity. Recently Steve rang
police about a man interfering with letterboxes and he was arrested
shortly after with an amount of mail in his pocket. If you think
you may be missing mail please contact Bulls Police on phone 3222020.
Police would also like to be notified if you are aware of prowlers,
boy racers etc. Though you may be put through to Police Communications
there is usually a police patrol not too far away.
Neighbourhood Watch is grateful to residents for recent donations
given towards cell phones, torches etc. Thank you! Appreciated.

SCHOOL AND COMMUNITY POOL
The pool committee was very pleased with the turnout to their
recent Gala Day and thanks the community for their support. This
returned $1200 to the pool committee which no doubt will be put
to good use. Applications have already been made to funding agencies
to make repairs and to paint the pool. The pool will close at
Easter for the season and key holders are requested to return
keys to the school.
SOMETHING FOR THE YOUNGSTERS
The School is considering setting up a B.M.X. track in the school
grounds and is keen to hear from any resident who is interested
in helping with this undertaking. It will be fairly basic and
should be a good place for youngsters needing a place to let off
steam.
School closes for the holidays on Thursday the 9th of April and
resumes on Monday the 27th of April.

Hard to believe that it is two months since our last book change!

COMMUNITY COMMITTEE
At our last meeting we decided that we should hold a public meeting
in the hotel to discuss the M.D.C.s LTCCP which is the Council's
plan for the next few years. As the Council wants input from residents
as to the future use of the hotel it would appear to be the ideal
venue. Do come along and express your thoughts. Meeting will be
held at 7 30pm on Wednesday the 22nd of April. We will have a
light supper at the end of the meeting. All Welcome! Other subjects
discussed were the spread of nut grass in the drains that is now
spreading into pasture, the non-completion of the Walking Track,
the exorbitant cost of running the Recycling Center and the mowing
of the lanes etc. Through the Corrections Dept. P.D. workers have
been engaged to paint the supper-room, kitchen, foyer and the
lower levels of the stadium at the Community Hall. This work should
be finished before Anzac Day.

SUNDAY MARKET
The committee now invites applications from residents and organizations
for funding for projects that will benefit our village. The forms
can be obtained from Del and these will be treated with the utmost
confidentiality. We do not believe that we should spend this money
on work that should be paid for out of our rates. Heaven knows
we pay enough! If you wish to have a site at the market the cost
is $15 and you need to be there before 7am. and Sally or Ross
will help you. Best to book in advance by ringing Del on 3293674
or Sally 3293823. There will be a market on Easter Monday price
for a site on that day will be $10
Thank you for supporting the market!
PHILLIPS ST. FOOTPATH
What a difference the new footpath has made to the look of Phillips

need now is footpaths in Hedges St too.
