Letter from Ross Vile.
December 21, 2010
To everyone of Sanson this is about the Occasional Newsletter
that is circulated around Sanson that
is full of inaccuracies, lies, misreporting and full of bull manure,
close to slander. It was reported
Rod Titcombe earns too much and plays golf all day, right surname
but wrong person. Facts should
be checked.
A later issue of the Occasional Newsletter corrected the statement
but was too late and no apology.
Some issues have also has snide remarks about our very popular
mayor, Ian McKelvie.
I have found a good use for the Occasional Newsletter it helps
lights the fire. Years ago it would
have had another use but then Purex was invented.
All this rubbish in the Occasional Newsletter started when I wrote
a letter to the Community
Committee about a report in the Occasional Newsletter indicating
that a show of hands supported a
Sanson Village seceding from the Manawatu District Council. The
truth was six of those attending
the meeting were supporting the motion and six against. I was
one of those against. I know my name
was not mentioned in the Occasional Newsletter but people know
I am an elected member of the
Sanson Community Committee. I only wanted the true facts printed
in the Occasional Newsletter
The letter I admit was not dated but had my name on it. Dick McAllister's
quote was half listed. The
rest was missed out because it did not suit Anne to publish it.
In the last Occasional Newsletter Anne suggested I have not got
the ability to write such a letter and
must have had help. What slander. It was my letter but I had it
proof read for spelling mistakes,
grammar etc. It appears I have now joined the black list which
includes Delphine Parker, Donnie
Wilson, Andrea McKenzie, Mike Mullane and others that have trespass
notices against them.
My Grandfather was born in Sanson in the 1880s. Went to school
here and later helped form the
streets of Sanson with pick and shovel, horse and dray. No front
end loaders in those days. My
mother was also born here and went to the school. Like Andrea
I am very passionate about our
lovely village. To some people who find it a bad place to live
in, going by all the negatives I have
heard; please move on because you won't be missed. To new residents
be careful who you befriend
and watch your back.
I must state here that my notes are not in any order but just
as I jotted them down. My notes are all
based on true facts. Other comments are my own personal thoughts
and sayings that I have acquired
over my seventy plus years.
Here is one item I have not seen published in the Occasional Newsletter
Anne was heard to say there
was an attempted murder in Sanson. In fact it was only a heated
disagreement between two
neighbours. There are other items that could be mentioned but
out of respect to Anne and her family
are not as they would cause too much embarrassment are not reported.
I know I am built like an elephant but I also have a memory like
one. Again these notes have been
proof read by another person, are you more confused Anne?
As stated in the last Occasional Newsletter it said I did not
return Anne's phone call. It didn't
request me to do so. When she rang the second time I was again
out doing committee work. My
partner, Joan, took the call and asked if there was any message
she could pass onto me. Joan was
intimidated by Anne and became very annoyed when Anne kept saying
I did not have the ability to
write the letter to the Community Committee. One thing led to
another. Joan told Anne she used the
most foul and vulgar language to Del at Del's
back door.. Anne had no way of knowing Joan was
there unless she used peeping tom tactics. Joan had no car etc.
there. Anne denies all this as she says
"I don 't swear" etc. Don't tell porkies Anne because
unbeknown to you two other people heard you.
Some very intelligent people have health problems. it's called
away With The Fairies. It is treatable
and help is available.
I, like a lot of other people, have had hiccups in life, some
very tragic events. I have found you have
to get on with life and don't bear grudges.
My letter to the Community Committee should not have been circulated
around Sanson in the
Occasional Newsletter Anne is not the meeting reporter. The meeting
minutes are the official ones
and can be read at any public library and at the Manawatu District
Council in Feilding.
What right has Anne to think she has the right to report on the
Community Committee meetings?
Anne is not an elected member. Anne has the right to attend the
meetings but can only express her
opinions if asked by the chairman and certainly no voting rights.
This also applies to other non-
elected members.
At a public meeting concerning the Annual Long Term Plan of the
Manawatu District Council held
in the Sanson Hall Anne had the democratic right to speak about
her pet subject, rats. I and others
found it very repulsive and disgusting when she bent down and
pulled a dead rat out of a bag and
presented it to the Mayor and those attending the meeting.
Some people say you are seeking attention and I should ignore
you. My argument is unless you are
exposed to Sanson residents you will continue to publish this
rubbish.
Anne, we think you have problems. Is this the long term effects
of your earlier lifestyle? ~
In the letter to the Community Committee I suggested to the editor
to change the format of the
Occasional Newsletter as it was becoming the laughing stock of
the village. I again suggest to the
editor if attempts are made to criticize my notes in future in
the Occasional Newsletter you will only
dig yourself a larger hole and become a bigger laughing stock.
To all residents of Sanson and Surrounds
Have a safe Christmas and a Happy New Year
From a honest and concerned
